Bioethicist and sociologist Raymond De Vries, PhD presents a deeper look into the history of Trust in medicine for the The Trust Project at Northwestern University.

In How Trust Shapes the Medical Field: A Sociologist’s Perspective DeVries explains the sociological foundations and context of how trust can operate in bioethics. The follow up video, The Rise of Bioethics in Response to Medical Distrust: Key Findings, explores a shift in trust toward medical practitioners and institutions. The Trust Project originates at Northwestern University with a mission to increase the research, practice and understanding of Trust.
