Health Professions Education Day: Sharing Scholarship and Best Practices

Educational scholars, practitioners, researchers, and students across University of Michigan’s seven health science schools gathered on September 16, 2015 to share best practices and explore opportunities for collaboration and innovation.

The inaugural Health Professions Education (HPE) Day was September 16, 2015 from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm in Michigan Union in Rogel Ballroom. The event coincided with the grand re-opening of the A. Alfred Taubman Health Sciences Library with tours from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. 

Over 200 faculty, staff, students, and alumni participated in the event, with representation from the Michigan Center for Interprofessional Education; Medical School; School of Nursing; College of Pharmacy; School of Dentistry; School of Kinesiology; School of Public Health; School of Social Work; School of Health Professions and Studies (Flint); College of Literature, Science and the Arts; A. Alfred Taubman Health Sciences Library; Office of Digital Education and Innovation; Center for Research on Learning and Teaching; Michigan Institute for Clinical and Health Research; and other units.
